The book, edited by M-Five colleagues, describes the state of knowledge on climate policy in transport at the beginning of the 2010s. The global economic crisis of 2008/2009 unleashes potential for change. Due to its dynamic growth, transport is identified as a problem sector for global climate protection. Urban transport transition strategies are at the centre of the problem solutions discussed. It is also proposed to introduce an emissions trading system for transport and to focus on new drive technologies such as electromobility.
