About:
Discussions on transport policy regularly lead to conflict-laden debates, as was demonstrated in the last legislative period by the buzzwords ‘ban on combustion engines’ and ‘speed limit’. A representative survey was used to analyse the social acceptance or potential for division of existing or possible climate-related transport policies. The Deutschlandticket and cycle lanes are most popular. If car use is more heavily priced, this meets with the strongest rejection. E-mobility is associated with climate protection and sustainability.
