The project TRANSITOR maps Europe’s TEN-T corridors across all transport modes – considering physical and digital elements together – at regional level to give policymakers evidence on how exposed regions are to physical and cyber hazards, and how prepared they are.

This first story in a series of project insights looks at the often invisible digital layer: traffic management, field equipment and connectivity services used for communications and the exchange of information. Using maritime traffic management as an example, it shows how a failure in one region can be inherited by others.
